The Mimico by the Lake BIA has been a part of a joint community initiative for the last 20 years. Together with the Mimico Village BIA, Lakeshore Village BIA, Long Branch BIA we have worked collectively with our local Councillor, MP, MPP and other community shareholders such as Humber College, TDSC, TCDSB trustees and 22 Division Police Service to address current issues. Although we are all different in many ways, we’re all a part of the same community, the South Etobicoke Community. We share ideas, thoughts and concerns, we collaborate on streetscaping projects to bring uniformity to our business area, we support each other’s events and festivals and we work together to maintain a thriving business area. We want our community to be safe and inviting. A place to live, work, shop and play.
